Marketing2016“Get More Qualified Leads in 2016” (aka making the phone ring) is the topic of the next workshop lead by Simon Turner and Kris Brinker of Ocean 5 Strategies—the Centreville, VA based consulting and marketing firm.

In line with their passion for improving the marketing performance of local businesses—meaning: Gainesville, Manassas, Fairfax, Sterling, Reston, and Herndon—Ocean 5 Strategies is providing educational programs ideal for home services companies. Marketing HVAC companies or plumbing businesses (and others: electrical, windows & siding, roofing etc.) has its own particular set of challenges. The midsize companies (3+ trucks) need to generate leads every month to keep crews working on profitable jobs. The challenge is to control marketing spend while generating more higher quality leads—which means higher lead conversion rates, and you guessed it…sales!
Ocean 5 Strategies is also running a special promotion for those that read all the way to the end—100% discount off of the registration fees for the first 5 business owners to apply…read on my friends!

Get More Qualified Leads in 2016

The topic is timely given that most companies are in the 2016 planning period—marketing strategies are being revamped and marketing budgets revised. With the plethora of advertising options out there—Angie’s list, YP, Yelp, Facebook, Linkedin, Google Adwords, Every Door Direct, Porch, Money Mailer, TV, and radio, to mention just a few—it’s hard to know which companies to trust with your precious advertising dollars.

Simon says (yes, funny but true!): “Ocean 5 Strategies has a different philosophy—we are marketing channel agnostic. Our focus is on measured results and accountability—we advise our clients on the right combination of marketing tools for their business and work with the chosen vendors to deliver measurable results. We bridge the gap between the busy executives running the business and the tactical marketing vendors. We have found that the best approach is to combine marketing strategy, lead generation and conversion into sales into a single seamless process, and measure the performance at each stage. That way we can help the client achieve their goal—profitable growth.”

Marketing Workshop in Tysons

The upcoming workshop will be held at the Wells Fargo Conference center in Tysons on Wednesday, December 16th. The program starts at 7.45am and ends at 9.30am.
After some research Kris has found that many of the attendees are busy people and like to get the show on the road early there’s often little time for education when you are running a business, so this program is designed around those tight schedules. There is some time at the beginning for guests to grab a coffee and chat with other business owners, and the subject matter experts are available afterward to answer individual questions.
Here’s the link to the online registration page for the workshop—read on for promotional code details.

Some of the online marketing topics that will be covered in this workshop include:

  • The latest on website search engine optimization
  • Getting found online through local search
  • Online advertising and social media
  • Website visitor conversion

There will also be a portion of the session devoted to offline marketing and how it integrates with the digital marketing programs. Referral based marketing will also be discussed since we all recognize it’s not just about the website—at the end of the day, people still buy from people (at least in the home service industry!) which is why leads by referral have the highest close rates.

Click here to register and you will get tips on how to run a content marketing program that is designed to get you noticed and extend the reach of your brand. The special discount code you have been waiting for is: leads2016-simon (note: click the promo code link before registering for a 100% percent discount!)
